Position Title:     Project Manager – PCI Audit

Position Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager focused on PCI Audit and vulnerability remediation in a large enterprise environment, you will be responsible for driving critical security initiatives across multi-disciplinary teams. Your role will be essential in ensuring that remediation actions are completed effectively and on time through clear communication, diligent follow-up, and robust documentation practices. Tasks will include:

  • Lead and facilitate meetings with diverse teams including application groups, security specialists, and third-party vendors.
  • Drive accountability among multiple groups to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities identified during security assessments and penetration testing.
  • Collaborate with security and risk professionals to review, interpret, and prioritize penetration test findings.
  • Translate complex security findings into clear, actionable remediation plans for business and technical teams.
  • Assign and coordinate specific remediation tasks to various teams, ensuring ownership and progress for all action items.
  • Manage the end-to-end tracking of vulnerabilities, ensuring visibility and progress across enterprise-level application landscapes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation detailing findings, remedial actions, progress, and completion status for all vulnerability items.
  • Develop and distribute reports, dashboards, and regular updates to executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Schedule and coordinate status meetings and progress reviews to keep all parties aligned and informed.
  • Work closely with external audit partners, vendors, and internal leadership to ensure all standards and requirements are consistently met.

 

Essential Skills, Experience


  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to confidently lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and hold teams accountable for results.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating cross-functional projects and initiatives within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Advanced skills in documentation, structured reporting, and process organization to ensure clear records of remediation progress and outcomes.
  • Expertise in using Jira is required, with a strong ability to track assignments, follow-up on issues, and manage workflows efficiently.
  • Solid foundation with spreadsheets, including Excel, Google Sheets, or Smartsheets, for reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience with project management software and tools (such as MS Project or similar) is preferred.
  • Highly skilled in structuring and maintaining detailed records, action logs, and communications.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and minimal need for direct supervision.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Background or familiarity in information security (Infosec) is a plus and will assist in understanding and communicating technical remediation requirements.
  • Prior experience working in fast-paced, high-visibility, deadline-driven environments.

  • Experience juggling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high quality and accuracy of deliverables.
