Position Title:     Network Project Manager

Location Information  

Remote (8+ month contract; potential to extend or convert)

Position Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Project Manager to coordinate a highly visible VPN installation, networking, and remote access/SASE initiative. In this role, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of a major enterprise migration project that involves operating system upgrades and cross-functional delivery. The focus is on coordinating global teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless execution. Strong leadership presence and impeccable communication are key for success in this role, as you will engage with stakeholders at all levels, including director-level stakeholders.


  • Lead the end-to-end operating system upgrade and network migration project across global teams, including US, UK, and third-party vendors.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal teams, multiple lines of business, and external partners.
  • Oversee project communications, status reporting, risk and issue tracking, and escalation processes for key stakeholders.
  • Act as the key escalation point for leadership and director-level management, ensuring effective resolution of project roadblocks.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and change management processes to keep the program on track.
  • Facilitate regular meetings, document project progress, and ensure consistent alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources across several geographic regions and organizations for successful project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to established processes, proactively implementing improvements to optimize project execution.
  • Partner closely with third-party vendors performing technical migrations to drive alignment and measure progress towards deliverables.

 

Essential Skills, Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management, with a proven track record in large-scale, global enterprise projects.
  • Extensive experience with migration initiatives, such as operating system upgrades and infrastructure migrations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to engage and align diverse audiences across all levels of an organization.
  • Confident, assertive leadership style, capable of managing challenging personalities and driving results in complex environments.
  • Expert organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts and competing priorities.
  • Experience overseeing and coordinating cross-functional and international teams.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) for project documentation and collaboration.
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management abilities, with demonstrable experience supporting high-visibility projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with project tracking and reporting tools such as Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and managed service providers preferred.
  • This position is primarily focused on project coordination and communication; hands-on technical execution is not required.
  • Professional presence and ability to represent the project in highly visible, executive-level settings is critical.
