Position Title: Enterprise Architect & Ardoq Tool Specialist
Location Information
Houston, TX | On-site, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)
Position Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Architect & Ardoq Tool Specialist is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation and ongoing support of the Ardoq enterprise architecture tool. This will include hands-on deployment, configuration, data management, and the training of internal team members to ensure optimal tool utilization and adoption. You will collaborate across teams to understand business and technical requirements and transform them into actionable architecture solutions while maintaining high data quality standards in the Ardoq platform. Additional responsibilities may include broader enterprise architecture initiatives as needed to support organizational goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the deployment and integration of the Ardoq enterprise architecture tool within the organization.
- Provide post-implementation support, ensuring the tool operates reliably and aligns with users’ evolving needs.
- Manage and maintain data within the Ardoq tool, focusing on data accuracy, integrity, and structure.
- Develop and deliver user training sessions and documentation to maximize proficiency and self-sufficiency among team members using the Ardoq tool.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and articulate them into effective enterprise architecture solutions that serve business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical or process challenges related to the Ardoq tool and associated architecture activities.
- Assist with additional enterprise architecture tasks as assigned to support project and organizational goals.
Essential Skills, Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Architecture, including experience implementing and supporting architecture tools.
- Direct experience with the Ardoq enterprise architecture tool, specifically in deploying, configuring, and integrating the tool into an enterprise-scale environment.
- Strong knowledge of data management best practices and data quality assurance within architecture platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to clearly explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience designing and delivering training for enterprise technology tools to a variety of user groups.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Adaptability to handle changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role.
- Hands-on experience implementing Ardoq in an enterprise context is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies is preferred.
