Position Title:     Sr Web & Unity Developer

Position Responsibilities:

As a Senior Web & Unity Developer, you will lead the creation and integration of engaging gameplay features and modern web applications. Your scope includes driving seamless connections between Unity-based interactive software and player-facing web experiences, ensuring a high-quality, integrated user journey. You will work autonomously on both game and web projects, frequently collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams while handling the full lifecycle of features from concept through delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining player-facing web applications using modern frameworks, primarily Vue.js.
  • Building and enhancing gameplay features, user interfaces, and system integrations within Unity using C#.
  • Implementing asynchronous, event-driven communication patterns utilizing messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
  • Translating product and design requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions in both web and game environments.
  • Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to write, review, refactor, and deliver efficient, high-quality code.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering partners.
  • Working independently to scope, plan, and execute new features or system improvements end-to-end.
  • Contributing to real-time and near-real-time systems that support gameplay and dynamic user interactions.
  • Ensuring code quality, performance, and reliability across both web and Unity projects.
  • Rapidly iterating on features based on user feedback, testing results, and product insights.

 

Essential Skills, Experience


  • 7+ years of professional software development experience in both web and Unity environments.
  • Strong proficiency with Vue.js and modern front-end development, including JavaScript, TypeScript, APIs, and state management.
  • Advanced skills in Unity (C#), with proven experience releasing interactive applications or games.
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous, event-driven architectures and hands-on experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize AI-assisted development tools for coding and code review.
  • Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced and ambiguous settings while translating product requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Expertise in designing and supporting real-time and near-real-time systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Experience effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an openness to feedback and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Background in developing gaming, gamification, or interactive entertainment products.
  • Familiarity with real-time multiplayer systems or synchronization patterns.
  • Experience with WebSockets or similar real-time communication technologies.
  • Knowledge of Node.js and backend integration methodologies.
  • Experience working within established design systems and best practices for UI/UX.
