Position Title:     Sr. VKS Consultant

Position Responsibilities:

As a Sr. VKS Consultant, you will play a leading role in a large-scale automation project, providing expertise across infrastructure automation, application container orchestration, and Service Now integration. Your responsibilities will span designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions utilizing VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) / Aria Automation and integrating automation workflows with Service Now. You will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and seamless operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading automation efforts end-to-end, bridging gaps between infrastructure teams, application developers, and IT service management functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the automation architecture and implementation for both infrastructure and application container environments using VCF-A (vRealize Automation/Aria Automation).
• Design, develop, and manage integration workflows between infrastructure automation platforms and Service Now for end-to-end service delivery.
• Drive best practices for automation, configuration management, and deployment pipelines within cloud or hybrid environments.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of Aria Automation (vRA/VCF-A) and All-Apps Container automation.
• Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure automated solutions.
• Develop and document operational processes, automation standards, and technical guidance for project teams and support staff.
• Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives related to automation workflows and service integrations.

Essential Skills, Experience

• Proven hands-on leadership experience with VCF-A (VMware Cloud Foundation – Automation), also known as vRA (vRealize Automation) or Aria Automation.
• Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure automation, including provisioning, configuration, orchestration, and lifecycle management.
• Strong background in All-Apps Container automation and orchestration technologies.
• Expertise in developing and integrating automation workflows with Service Now platforms for ITSM and service delivery.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and document complex automation solutions and integrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in technical and non-technical environments.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments or large automation projects.
