Position Title:   Network Project Manager

Location Information Onsite – Nashville, TN

Position Responsibilities:

We are searching for an experienced and highly effective Network Project Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise-wide network deployment initiatives. In this role, your primary focus will be overseeing the planning and execution of complex, multi-site projects in a healthcare enterprise environment. This is a hands-off, coordination-intensive position responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, in scope, and aligned with both technical objectives and business priorities.

  • Plan, manage, and deliver end-to-end network deployment projects across multiple CONUS (Continental US) locations.
  • Drive ad hoc networking initiatives and take ownership of lifecycle management tasks supporting the enterprise’s evolving network infrastructure needs.
  • Create, update, and track project plans, timelines, milestone progress, and deployment schedules using industry-standard project management and reporting tools.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring prioritization aligns with business and operational needs.
  • Partner closely with internal network engineering teams to verify technical requirements are clearly defined and project execution stays in lockstep with engineering goals.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities, issue resolution, and status alignment with external vendors, carriers, VARs (Value Added Resellers), and third-party partners to ensure successful deployments.
  • Identify project risks, manage dependencies, and assist with impact assessments for on-the-ground implementation activities.
  • Create and maintain clear, executive-ready reports for leadership, summarizing project status, objectives, achievements, risks, and next steps.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with leadership and key operational stakeholders within the healthcare environment, ensuring objectives and outcomes are transparent and understood.

Essential Skills, Experience

To excel in this role, candidates should bring a strong set of technical project management skills—particularly as they relate to complex network deployments in large enterprise environments.

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing technical infrastructure or network deployment projects, with demonstrable success on ground-up initiatives and transformation efforts.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise networking, especially with MPLS architectures, and the intricacies of large-scale multi-site deployments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to maintain and update complex project schedules while tracking dependencies, milestones, and at-risk activities.
  • Strong track record of coordinating among multiple internal teams and managing external engagements with carriers, vendors, VARs, and third-party implementation partners.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill technical project updates into clear reports for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks while proactively surfacing issues and possible solutions.
  • Expertise using leading project management tools and reporting platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience managing technical projects.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred and highly desirable.
  • Direct experience supporting projects within healthcare enterprise settings strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity working alongside VARs and leading third-party implementation efforts is a plus.
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise networking concepts, MPLS-based environments, and common project management frameworks and tools.
