Position Title: Property Accountant

Location: Hybrid – Topeka, KS

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist with backlog in the accounting department
• Work on utility/construction-related tasks
• Handle fixed assets and project setup, review, and analysis
• Perform basic accounting tasks, including journal entries
• Collaborate with a team and demonstrate strong work ethic

Essential Skills & Expertise:

• Utility or construction industry experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with accounting software, such as PeopleSoft or Power Plant
• An ability to adapt and learn new software
