Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes the types of personal information ECCO Select Corporation and its affiliates (“ECCO Select,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may collect on www.eccoselect.com and through our online recruiting activities, how that information may be used and shared, the choices and rights available to you, and the measures we take to protect the security of the information collected.
This policy applies to visitors to our website, job applicants and candidates, and individuals who contact us or subscribe to our communications. It does not apply to personal information we process on behalf of our clients under contract, which is governed by those agreements. Our employees and placed consultants receive separate privacy notices.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

Information may be automatically collected by our website, including your IP address, browser and device type, the address of the site you visited just prior to ours, pages viewed, and the number of times an article or page from our site has been shared. There are several ways you may choose to provide additional personal information (such as your name, address, telephone number and email address) on this website. Following are the ways you may provide the information, the types of information you may submit, and how we may use the information you provide.

SEND RESUME

You may submit your resume and other information online to apply for jobs at ECCO Select or with our clients. This may include your contact information, work history, education, skills, certifications, references, compensation expectations, work authorization, and, where relevant to a position, security clearance status. We use third-party service providers, including our applicant tracking system provider, to help us conduct recruitment-related activities. We use the information you submit to evaluate your application, match you with current and future opportunities, present your qualifications to clients with your permission, contact you regarding possible careers with ECCO Select, and meet our legal obligations.
If you advance in the hiring process, we may request additional information, such as information needed for a background check, which we will collect only with the separate notices and authorizations required by law. Any voluntary self-identification information (such as for equal employment opportunity reporting) is kept separate from your application and is not used in hiring decisions.
We may use automated tools to help organize and match applications to open positions. Hiring decisions are made by people.

STAY IN TOUCH

You may submit your name and email address online to receive newsletters we distribute. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future newsletters, you can use the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter or reply to the newsletter and ask to be removed, and we will promptly do so.

CONTACT US

You may submit your name, email address and other personal information online in a request for ECCO Select to contact you about a specific matter of your choosing. Your information may then be shared internally at ECCO Select in order to provide you with an appropriate response. We do not use this information to send you unsolicited email.

TEXT MESSAGES

If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, we may send you messages about job opportunities, your application, or assignments. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Mobile numbers and text messaging opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

THIRD PARTY ANALYTICS

We use third-party web analytics services on our website, such as Google Analytics. These service providers help us analyze how visitors use the website. The information collected for this purpose (including your IP address and other information collected by automated means) will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers. To learn more about how to opt out of Google Analytics, visit the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on page.
We do not permit advertising networks to collect information on our website for targeted advertising.

COOKIES AND LOG FILES

We use cookies and log files to enhance the online experience of our visitors and to better understand how our site is used. Cookies and log files may tell us, for example, whether you have visited our site before or whether you are a new visitor. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie settings tool [link]. The “help” portion of the toolbar on most browsers will also tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to be notified when you receive a new cookie, and how to disable existing cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Our website does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, because no common standard exists for them. However, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for the browser or device sending the signal.
