Position Responsibilities:

As the MS Security Architect, you will serve as the senior-most technical and delivery leader for workplace engagements focused on Microsoft 365 Security and Endpoint Management. Your responsibilities will require you to:

  • Act as the highest-level technical authority for workplace technological engagements, managing solution design, architecture decisions, and technical risk across Microsoft 365 and Apple device management platforms.
  • Lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-workstream workplace transformations, which include Microsoft 365 migrations, modern endpoint deployments, identity consolidations, collaboration platform integrations, and securing posture enhancements.
  • Provide objective and strategic guidance to customers during workplace platform selection, ensuring recommendations align with workforce needs, compliance demands, and long-term business strategies.
  • Review and approve architecture documentation, deployment plans, technical assessments, and statements of work to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to company standards.
  • Translate emerging workplace trends—including AI-powered productivity solutions, modern security paradigms like zero-trust, and autonomous endpoint management—into actionable service offerings for clients.
  • Maintain active certifications and represent the organization as a thought leader at industry events, partner briefings, and advisory boards.
  • Mentor and coach architects, senior consultants, and consultants to promote technical growth, performance, and delivery quality throughout project engagements.
  • Foster a high-performance project culture, supporting psychological safety, open debate, and a values-oriented team environment focused on personal growth, client satisfaction, and results.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and ongoing capability development for the workplace practice team.
  • Represent the practice in leadership forums, surfacing insights on market trends, team health, and strategic opportunities.
  • Participate in both pre-sales solution design and end-to-end delivery ownership, maintaining a dual focus on client needs and project success.
  • Oversee financial performance of engagements, balancing P&L responsibilities, financial forecasts, reporting, and risk management.

Essential Skills, Experience

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT, including both technical delivery and leadership roles.
  • 5+ years leading multidisciplinary teams of architects or consultants on complex, client-facing workplace or modern work engagements.
  • Proven track record that spans both pre-sales solutioning and full life-cycle delivery ownership.
  • Strong experience with financial oversight for technology engagements, including P&L management, reporting, and risk mitigation.
  • In-depth knowledge across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), Defender for Endpoint, Purview, MECM/Intune, and their associated security/compliance tools.
  • Hands-on understanding of Apple enterprise device management—particularly Apple Business Manager, and integration with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM solutions.
  • Proficiency with migration tools, identity federation, hybrid environments, and modern authentication frameworks, such as SAML, OAuth, and Conditional Access.
  • Expertise in zero-trust security frameworks, identity and access management, and endpoint compliance methodologies.
  • Ability to operate at multiple levels—from conducting high-level strategy sessions with executive leadership to reviewing technical architecture with engineering teams.
  • Executive presence: confidence to lead conversations with C-level stakeholders, simplify complexity for non-technical audiences, and build lasting client trust.
  • Structured problem-solving abilities; skilled at identifying root causes, asking insightful questions, and producing actionable technical recommendations.
  • Entrepreneurial approach: manages projects with attention to outcomes, profitability, and sustained client satisfaction.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—for producing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality client documentation, including strategies, roadmaps, business cases, and architectural designs.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs require.
