Position Title:     Network Assurance

Position Responsibilities:

As a Network Assurance professional, you will play a key role in assessing and analyzing network infrastructure readiness and supporting the deployment of large-scale Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) initiatives across multiple Federal facilities. Your focus will be on ensuring network capacity, reliability, and security across a diverse set of environments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN), identifying necessary infrastructure changes to support EHRM deployment.
• Assess all relevant aspects of physical and logical infrastructure, including wiring closets, computer rooms, inter-building wiring, mobile deployment vehicles, and forward-deployed hardware locations.
• Analyze and document computer room requirements such as power capacity and distribution, cooling systems, physical space availability, and all network, inter-device, and power connections.
• Evaluate forward-deployed server network requirements per rack and review infrastructure needs for both facility-wide and remote/mobile sites.
• Document installation specifics, including locations and required installation timelines.
• Assess current network capacity, conduct baseline analyses, and project future network requirements driven by EHRM systems.
• Identify capacity gaps and provide recommendations for infrastructure upgrades as needed to ensure optimal performance of all systems and devices.
• Provide comprehensive readiness documentation with configuration specifications, network performance benchmarks, security configuration and compliance status, and wireless coverage maps.
• Create thorough network readiness assessments for each designated facility running EHRM applications.
• Comply with all relevant corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, safeguarding both corporate and client assets.
• Work irregular or additional hours as required and within regulatory limits to meet project timelines.
• Undertake up to 50% travel for on-site assessments as required by project scope.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned to support the successful deployment of EHRM infrastructure.

Essential Skills, Experience

• Demonstrated experience performing network infrastructure assessments for LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments in large-scale or complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of physical and logical network design, including wiring, rack, and hardware deployments in a multi-site environment.
• Expertise in analyzing and documenting power, cooling, and physical security requirements for critical computer room infrastructure.
• Knowledgeable in capacity planning, performance benchmarking, and network optimization for mission-critical applications.
• Proven ability to identify network bottlenecks, gaps, and security vulnerabilities, and provide actionable recommendations for remediation and improvement.
• Highly organized approach to technical documentation, including configuration specifications, security and compliance status, and wireless analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel up to 50% and work irregular or extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data security and compliance in all aspects of network readiness work.
