Position Title:     Sr. Project Manager – AI Agentic Platform Implementation

Location Information  

Remote | 6+ Month Contract (Strong potential for long-term extension)

Position Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly seasoned and proactive Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale AI agentic platform implementation for a global enterprise organization. You will serve as the key leader, driving business and technical teams in a fast-paced, iterative Agile delivery environment. The successful candidate will step in just as the project is gaining momentum (currently about six weeks underway) and act as the central coordinator, ensuring strategic alignment and on-time, within-budget delivery.

Core responsibilities include:

• Provide overall leadership of a large, multi-million-dollar, global AI platform program through all phases of the project lifecycle—from planning, execution, and monitoring, to closing.
• Serve as the “glue” across diverse business units (Customer Experience, Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, Change Management, Training) and technology groups, expertly navigating cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Drive the transition from Waterfall to Agile methodologies, championing iterative delivery and continuous improvement across project teams.
• Partner closely with the Product Owner, supporting backlog prioritization and requirements definition, while managing project delivery, critical path, dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, and budgets.
• Independently drive project execution with minimal supervision, proactively identifying support needs, scheduling and leading working sessions, and ensuring quick issue resolution.
• Hold cross-functional teams and individuals accountable for commitments, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring all tasks and project workstreams stay on track.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate efforts between internal and third-party project participants, ensuring clear alignment on objectives and deliverables.
• Lead high-impact meetings with strong executive presence, confidently facilitating discussions, driving decision-making, and challenging teams to meet quality and timeline goals.
• Prepare, present, and communicate concise project status reports, risks, achievements, and executive-level updates and presentation materials.

Essential Skills, Experience

To be successful in this position, you should possess the following:

• 10+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of independently leading large, complex, multi-million-dollar global projects within enterprise environments.
• Clear expertise in Agile methodologies and a strong background in driving Agile adoption, while also understanding Waterfall processes.
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups, including business, technology, vendors, and leadership.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, and accountability skills, with the ability to operate as a proactive self-starter who thrives when taking charge with minimal oversight.
• Expert ability to identify, address, and resolve complex project issues—ensuring barrier removal and project momentum.
• Consistent, concise, and confident executive communication skills—capable of commanding meetings, leading presentations, and influencing decision-making at all levels.
• Experience overseeing vendor relationships and partnership alignment for successful project outcomes.
• Strong proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Workspace, and presentation tools, or a willingness and ability to rapidly adapt from Microsoft Excel/Office tools.
• Professionalism, assertiveness, and the proven ability to operate independently in high-pressure, high-stakes environments.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills; capable of dissecting complex business and delivery challenges, keeping teams focused and achieving results.
• Superior stakeholder management abilities, including interfacing effectively with business teams, executives, technical teams, and third-party vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field required; advanced degree/certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications) preferred.
• Project experience within AI/agentic AI implementation programs strongly preferred, though not required.
• Exposure to telephony, contact center or CX technologies (especially Five9 and/or Invoka platforms) is beneficial.
• Exceptional references and demonstrated history of upholding the highest standards of professionalism, proactivity, and initiative.
