Position Responsibilities:

As an Information Security Principal Architect, you will drive the security architecture transformation across our enterprise. You will serve as a key technical leader, working closely with security leadership and other senior technical professionals. Your primary focus will be on defining and implementing robust security architectures that address emerging threats across core business systems, applications, and cloud environments.

  • Lead technical discovery workshops with IT and Security Subject Matter Experts to assess the current-state of security maturity, identify potential security exposure, and define the future state architecture.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive solutions that address security hardening within CI/CD pipelines, AI vulnerability assessment, and AI-native security feedback loop projects.
  • Establish and maintain architectural standards across all security domains to ensure consistent best practices and policy compliance.
  • Present complex findings and solution designs to executive audiences (CISO, CTO, CIO), effectively translating technical security details into clear business risk perspectives.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and services experts to stay current with industry best practices, regulatory developments, and emerging security trends.
  • Mentor Security and IT Engineers, providing guidance as the senior escalation point throughout the delivery lifecycle of security architecture projects.
  • Drive organizational innovation and thought leadership by promoting advanced, multi-domain architectural strategies.
  • Integrate secure artificial intelligence solutions into enterprise architectures, where relevant, to increase security resilience and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate superior program management and stakeholder alignment skills, leading complex, cross-functional architectural engagements from project scoping to solution delivery.

Essential Skills, Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in security architecture and technical leadership, coupled with demonstrated experience in designing and delivering innovative solutions across complex enterprise environments.

  • 8–12 years of experience in solutions architecture with significant, hands-on expertise in security architecture at the enterprise level.
  • Proven experience with cloud architecture on major platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including implementation of security-native design patterns such as zero trust, least privilege, and integrated Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Strong understanding and practical application of MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP (including traditional Top 10 and Agentic Top 10 for AI Security), and familiarity with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework within security architecture designs.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence; capable of engaging and influencing both business and technical stakeholders at the CISO/CTO/CIO level.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and lead technical teams, acting as the senior escalation point for architecture and delivery issues.
  • Proficiency in leading cross-functional teams through complex architecture engagements, managing competing priorities, and aligning diverse stakeholder interests.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in the rapidly-evolving security landscape, especially around AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar) preferred.
