Position Title: Information Security Principal Architect

Position Responsibilities:
We are seeking an accomplished Information Security Principal Architect to drive the maturation and transformation of enterprise security architecture. In this highly visible role, you will lead strategic initiatives, design solution architectures, and serve as a senior technical resource guiding the delivery of secure, resilient technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with security and IT leadership, engineering teams, and subject matter experts across domains to develop and maintain world-class security architectures that address emergent threats and enable innovation across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead technical discovery workshops with IT and Security subject matter experts to assess current-state maturity, identify security exposures, and define effective target architectures across multiple domains.
- Design comprehensive solutions addressing CI/CD pipeline security, AI vulnerability assessment, and implementation of AI-native security feedback loops for next-generation protection.
- Establish and maintain architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices that align with industry-leading models, ensuring consistency and scalability across all security domains.
- Present technical findings, architectural proposals, and solution recommendations to executive stakeholders such as CISO, CTO, and CIO, appropriately translating complex technical concepts into succinct business risk narratives.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry best practices and security trends through active collaboration with consulting, sales, and delivery teams across the business.
- Mentor engineers and technical staff, providing architectural guidance and serving as the senior escalation point during solution delivery.
- Champion innovation and thought leadership, driving architectural evolution that encompasses multiple security domains and future-proofs enterprise technology landscapes.
- Integrate secure AI capabilities into both new and existing architectures wherever possible, leveraging cutting-edge methods to address modern threat vectors.
- Demonstrate exceptional program management and organizational skills, leading complex, multi-party architecture engagements from scoping, through design, to successful delivery and oversight.
Essential Skills, Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in solutions architecture, with substantial, demonstrable expertise in enterprise security architecture.
- Deep technical knowledge and hands-on architecture experience across at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including cloud-native security designs such as zero trust, least privilege, and Identity and Access Management (IAM)/Network & Host Isolation (NHI) patterns.
- Broad familiarity with security frameworks and threat modeling techniques such as MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP (including both traditional and Agentic Top 10), and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, with the ability to effectively apply these standards to practical architecture decisions.
- Demonstrated executive presence, with the ability to communicate complex technical architectures clearly to both technical and business leadership, including C-level executives.
- Proven experience leading architecture engagements in large-scale, multi-stakeholder environments, including facilitating workshops, negotiating solution designs, and ensuring delivery consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- Professional security certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS/GCP/Azure Security certifications) are strongly preferred.
