Position Title:     Information Security Project Manager

Location Information  Remote

Position Responsibilities:

As an Information Security Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing organizational cybersecurity maturity and operational efficiency. You will lead and successfully deliver large-scale projects and programs, ensuring initiatives are completed on schedule, within scope, and communicated transparently across all stakeholder groups. Your primary focus will be to coordinate and manage the execution of crucial cybersecurity activities, ensuring compliance with established standards and methodologies.

Your core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading cybersecurity projects or programs in accordance with enterprise project management methodologies, tools, and procedures.
• Developing, maintaining, and communicating clear project plans, timelines, and status updates to resources and stakeholders at all levels.
• Effectively managing project scope, facilitating change management, monitoring and mitigating project risks, and maintaining accountability for timelines.
• Coordinating workstreams across multiple IT product teams, balancing priorities and managing dependencies in a dynamic environment.
• Navigating complex stakeholder groups and managing demanding customer expectations while ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance mandates.
• Designing and producing high-quality executive presentations, detailed reports, and succinct one-pagers for use in leadership briefings and cross-functional updates.
• Overseeing pilots and research into emerging technologies, such as AI platforms, in order to identify, document, and implement high-value use cases within Information Security.
• Maintaining comprehensive change documentation and developing process guides to support sustained adoption of new solutions and frameworks.
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders, including Legal, Leadership, IT Product Ownership, and IT Infrastructure/Application teams, to ensure alignment and successful initiative delivery.
• Driving change through the implementation of new regulatory requirements and information security standards (e.g., NIST 800-171, ISO 27001).

Essential Skills, Experience

• Demonstrable passion for delivering world-class cybersecurity solutions and services.
• At least 5 years of experience working within IT organizations or managing IT-related projects.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and/or compliance initiatives.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices, frameworks, and control environments.
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks such as Service Organization Controls (SOC 1 and SOC 2), NIST 800-171/CMMC, and ISO 27001.
• Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are required.
• Proficiency in translating strategic business requirements into actionable IT deliverables and vice versa.
• Excellent organization, documentation, and planning skills, with a keen attention to detail and a track record of delivering to strict deadlines.
• Self-driven and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
