Position Title:      Senior Scrum Master – Consulting

Location Information  

Hybrid, Kansas City Office
Residency within 100 miles of the Kansas City office is required.

Position Responsibilities:

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in facilitating and coaching Agile practices and supporting daily interactions within cross-functional application development teams. Your primary focus will be on delivering value, driving continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring the successful execution of a mission-critical modernization initiative. Key responsibilities include:

• Drive teams’ focus on the flow of value by utilizing team metrics to measure and improve performance.
• Coach Agile teams on effective collaborative processes and facilitate the removal of impediments.
• Guide teams in delivering incremental value in every iteration.
• Facilitate essential Scrum and Agile team activities, including iteration planning, refinement, retrospectives, demos, team syncs, and support in Program Increment (PI) planning.
• Partner with Program Managers, Product Managers, and Product Owners to identify and manage issues and dependencies across teams.
• Guide teams in the use of Agile tools to manage and track day-to-day work effectively.
• Apply Agile methodologies, values, principles, and best practices to plan, manage, and deliver technology solutions.
• Train, mentor, and support teams in embracing Agile values, principles, and continuous improvement techniques.

Qualifications:

• Residency within 100 miles of the Kansas City office is a requirement for this hybrid role.
• Relevant Agile or Scrum certifications (such as CSM, PSM, or similar) are a plus.
• Prior consulting experience is beneficial.
