Position Title: Technical Sales Representative
Location Information
Hybrid - Dallas, TX (local travel within DFW required)
Position Responsibilities:
We are looking for an energetic and driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on new business development across IT services and solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid work environment, combining in-person client interactions across the Dallas-Fort Worth area with remote work flexibility after ramp-up. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Generating new business opportunities through effective prospecting, networking, and diligent lead follow-up
- Selling Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (10–300 employees)
- Promoting and selling the full range of IT infrastructure services and solutions to enterprise clients
- Actively managing and documenting all sales activities within Zoho CRM, ensuring a disciplined sales process and accurate reporting
- Developing and strengthening client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and guiding opportunities from initial contact through to close
- Conducting face-to-face meetings with clients across the DFW metropolitan area to understand their needs and present solutions
Essential Skills, Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
- Prior experience in B2B technical sales with a focus on IT services, managed services, hardware and software solutions, or a similar environment
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to engage prospects and clients, perform follow-up, and close business effectively
- Ability to create and nurture strong client relationships with a focus on providing a superior client experience
- Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage sales workflows and pipeline activity (experience with Zoho CRM is a plus)
- Self-motivation, organizational skills, and comfort operating in a hybrid client-facing/remote work model
- Ability and willingness to travel locally within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to attend client meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Relevant college degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered
- Prior experience utilizing sales CRM platforms (Zoho preferred)
- Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying sales role within the technology sector
