Position Title:     Sr. Project Manager

Location Information

Position Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple complex projects, ensuring seamless delivery across diverse workstreams. You will be instrumental in planning, organizing, and managing all phases of projects, with a particular emphasis on federal and global financial customer engagements. Leveraging strong organizational skills, you will create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) with clear interdependencies and critical paths, while proactively managing changes in project scope. Your responsibilities include monitoring and reporting project progress to stakeholders, building strong relationships with both internal and external parties, implementing engagement review and quality assurance protocols, and ensuring successful project execution as measured by financial targets and customer satisfaction. You will also be tasked with managing resource plans, improving execution through project management tools and techniques, tracking project financials, risk management, and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables within budget. Creating and executing effective communication strategies, both internally and externally, will be key to maintaining alignment with all levels of management and project teams.

Essential Skills, Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, leading external customer-facing projects in Professional Services or Managed Services environments.
• Demonstrated project management in the areas of Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, or Collaboration (Unified Communications).
• Experience supporting global financial customers, including proven ability to manage multisite deployments (such as wireless, Wi-Fi, and POS systems).
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management theory and methodologies, with hands-on ability to develop WBS and manage project interdependencies.
• Strong financial acumen; proficiency in managing project budgets, financial forecasting, resource utilization, analyzing profitability, revenue, margins, and bill rates. Clarity experience preferred.
• Ability to swiftly learn and utilize project management and tracking platforms such as Empower; proficiency with project management software required.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex project details clearly in both written and verbal formats, including stakeholder reporting and presentation skills.
• Background in risk management and delivering clear, actionable plans to leadership.
• Skilled in developing, documenting, and executing internal and external communications strategies for cross-functional project teams at all levels.
• Demonstrated capacity for autonomy, attention to detail, multitasking, and aggressive timeline management in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent documentation, stakeholder analysis, and change management skills.
• Experience with resource planning, team building, and leadership of cross-discipline project personnel.
• Customer-centric mindset with a drive for delivering high-quality client engagements and superior customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes using project management methodologies and tools for driving project efficiencies.
• Proven ability to ensure quality and timely execution of deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• PMP and/or CAPM certification highly desired.
