Position Title:     Senior Quadient Inspire Engineer

Location Information  

Remote (preferred candidates near Alpharetta, GA; Rancho Cordova, CA; or Oakland/San Francisco, CA)

Position Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quadient Inspire Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the architectural design, development, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-scale customer communication solutions using the Quadient Inspire platform. You will be responsible for building and supporting communications distributed through multiple channels, including print, email, and digital formats. Working closely with both IT and business stakeholders, you will ensure deliverables are innovative, compliant, accessible, and meet the robust needs of a large-scale enterprise.

Key duties include:

  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level customer communication solutions leveraging the Quadient Inspire platform.
  • Build and support multi-channel customer communications (printed/digital documents, emails, reports, and other system-generated outputs).
  • Generate and support customer-facing outputs in industry-standard formats including PDF and AFP.
  • Ensure all customer communications are accessible and compliant with ADA and related accessibility requirements.
  • Develop reusable, data-driven communication components utilizing Quadient Inspire Designer, Inspire Automation Scalar, Inspire Interactive, Content Manager, and Approve Workflow.
  • Integrate Quadient Inspire with various upstream and downstream systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, delivery standards, and compliance needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data, formatting, rendering, accessibility, and performance.
  • Ensure all customer communications meet security, audit, regulatory, and quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design reviews, testing, release activities, and documentation.

 

Essential Skills, Experience

To be successful in this role, candidates should have an in-depth understanding of both the Quadient Inspire ecosystem and enterprise IT environments. The essential skills and expertise include:

  • Current Quadient Inspire certifications in Inspire Designer, Inspire Scalar, and Inspire Interactive.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional IT or software engineering experience, with at least three (3) years of hands-on Quadient Inspire experience in a production enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing end-to-end document generation and communications solutions that involve more than just template development.
  • Expertise in data-driven document composition and the creation of dynamic communication content.
  • Programming experience in Groovy Script, JavaScript, Python, or a combination of these languages.
  • Proven ability to work within formal development lifecycle processes, including quality assurance and software releases in enterprise IT environments.

Preferred additional skills and experience:

  • Experience supporting high-volume, customer-facing communications.
  • Familiarity with customer communications management platforms, especially within regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, or financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with API-based integrations for REST and SOAP services.
  • Expertise in ensuring accessibility and compliance of customer communications, including adherence to ADA and WCAG guidelines.
  • Background supporting multi-channel delivery strategies (print, email, digital).
  • SQL competence in querying and validating data from relational databases.
  • Participation in platform modernization or cloud migration initiatives is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for candidates with significant Quadient Inspire expertise.
