Position Title:     Sr. Project Manager – POS System Rollouts

Location Information  

Remote (100%); Must reside in CST or EST time zone; Light travel required

Position Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will drive the integration and rollout of cloud-based POS (Point of Sale) systems across multiple restaurant locations within a multi-unit organization. Leading these high-impact implementation efforts, you will ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and scope, and aligned with overarching operational needs. This role involves managing diverse project teams, coordinating with field service providers, and bridging technical, operational, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the end-to-end rollout of cloud-based POS systems across multiple locations.
• Managing project timelines, establishing clear milestones, and tracking deliverables to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinating field service scheduling and strategically deploying resources for on-site implementations.
• Managing resources, including oversight and coordination of external vendors and internal deployment teams.
• Facilitating and leading regular project meetings, providing stakeholder updates, and delivering executive-level presentations as needed.
• Tracking, assessing, and mitigating project risks, issues, and key dependencies; driving prompt resolution and escalation where necessary.
• Delivering concise and consistent project status reports to leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Maintaining detailed and organized project documentation and progress tracking using Excel (or other preferred project management tools).
• Ensuring seamless alignment and communication between technical teams, field teams, and business stakeholders to support deployment success.

Essential Skills, Experience

• Extensive experience leading POS system rollouts within multi-unit restaurant or large-scale retail organizations.
• Deep knowledge and proven background in cloud-based POS platforms and their deployment in field environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with scheduling and coordination of on-site field service activities.
• Demonstrated success in resource management, vendor coordination, and managing cross-functional project teams.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to deliver engaging presentations and clear status updates to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills; adept at juggling multiple parallel project timelines and shifting priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for project tracking and documentation (other project management tools are also acceptable).
• Understanding of the unique challenges and operational nuances of the restaurant or retail industry, especially as related to technology deployments.
• Must be located in the Central (CST) or Eastern (EST) time zone.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for key meetings or site visits (minimal travel required).
