Position Title:Datacenter Critical Facilities Engineer

Location Information: On-Site – Kansas City, MO

Position Responsibilities:

The Datacenter Critical Facilities Engineer is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building infrastructure systems including HVAC, electrical, chilled water, generators, UPS, and air handlers. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary on-site engineer for infrastructure operations, responding to emergency and scheduled maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, providing vendor oversight, participating in facility projects, and supporting infrastructure operations during standard and off-hours.

Essential Skills, Experience:

– 5+ years of experience in datacenter facilities operations or similar critical infrastructure environment.

– Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with electrical distribution panels and safe breaker operations.

– Demonstrated experience with HVAC, UPS, backup generators, or power distribution units.

– Knowledge of datacenter systems and equipment installations, maintenance, and lifecycle management.

– Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
