Position Title: Project Controls Analyst

Location Information: Onsite – Topeka, KS

Position Responsibilities:

Under general direction of the Project Controls Manager, serves as an intermediary between engineering, real estate, vegetation management, procurement, and construction to assist in completing transmission and substation projects on time and on budget. Will provide support for completion report process, including analysis of material, labor, overhead, and other charges against projects. Assist with forecast and budget review process, monthly tracking and variance analysis, cost estimation, work requests, and schedule development.

Essential Skills & Expertise:

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or related field and relevant experience. Must have general finance experience and proficiency in spreadsheet and word process software applications. Experience in transmission and substation assets is required. Must be able to work independently, communicate effectively with management and stakeholders, and have experience using Microsoft Project.
