Position Title: ISE Engineer

Location: Remote

Position Responsibilities:

– Administer and configure Cisco ISE platform
– Troubleshoot and optimize Cisco ISE configurations
– Manage Unix/Linux, Windows, and potentially VMware vCenter platforms
– Configure Cisco routers and switches, and network authentication protocols
– Apply network security principles and best practices
– Configure and modify Access Control Lists
– Utilize device profiles for network access control and policy enforcement
– Implement network segmentation using Cisco ISE
– Understand wireless networking technologies and protocols
– Familiarity with network infrastructure components and security concepts
– Ability to write scripts using Python

Essential Skills, Experience:

– Minimum of 8-10 years of experience
– 4+ years of experience with Cisco ISE administration
– Experience managing Unix/Linux, Windows, and VMware vCenter platforms
– Experience with Cisco router and switch configuration and network authentication protocols
– Expert knowledge of Cisco ISE configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization
– Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
– Familiarity with network protocols, Access Control Lists, and wireless networking technologies
– Understanding of network infrastructure components and security concepts
– Proficiency in scripting languages like Python

Qualifications:

– Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
– Wireless and/or Switching/Routing Certifications
