Position Title: E-Discovery Specialist

Location Information: Hybrid – Cary, NC

Position Responsibilities:

– Identify and collect electronic data, including from cloud platforms, relevant to a particular case or investigation, ensuring proper preservation.

– Conduct forensic imaging of electronic devices and storage media using industry standard tools and techniques.

– Manage and organize electronic data to facilitate efficient review and analysis.

– Review electronic data to identify potentially relevant information using specialized software and manual assessment.

– Provide technical support and guidance to legal team members or outside counsel.

– Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all eDiscovery activities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

– Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, computer science, or a related field.

– 3-6 years' experience working in digital forensics and providing technical support to legal teams.

– Proficiency in eDiscovery technologies and software applications, such as document management systems and electronic review platforms.

– Understanding of legal principles and requirements related to eDiscovery.

– Strong analytical skills for identifying relevant information from large volumes of electronic data.

– Attention to detail in data collection and preservation, and identifying and addressing discrepancies.

– Effective communication skills to interact with legal teams, technical experts, and stakeholders.

– Strong project management skills for planning and executing eDiscovery projects.
