Position Title: Resident Engineer

Location Information: Basking Ridge, NJ

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement product solutions for public and private Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) environments.
• Design and architect solutions with a focus on redundancy, resource optimization, and integration with OpenShift.
• Create automated software solutions for MEC configuration deployments, system updates, and monitoring.
• Automate processes to ensure efficient configuration, system updates, and proactive monitoring.
• Implement health monitoring and provide troubleshooting recommendations based on system analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement robust MEC solutions.
• Engage in system health monitoring, software update analysis, and provide actionable insights for system improvements.

Essential Skills & Expertise:

• Ability to think on the fly, adapt to technical challenges, and be resourceful across multiple domains.
• Strong Linux administration skills; familiarity with Red Hat, OpenShift, OpenStack, and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in cloud technologies and virtualization.
• Understanding of network infrastructures and their optimization.
• Experience or exposure to data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence is a plus.
• Ability to analyze and leverage data to optimize processes.
• Open to participating in physical activities required by the team and project tasks.
• Passionate, innovative, and highly conversational with a creative approach to problem-solving.
