Position Title: Reporting Manager

Location Information: Hybrid – Addison, TX

Position Responsibilities:

The Reporting Manager will focus on analyzing healthcare financial data and building reports that provide insights into the operational and financial health of the business. This is a very technical, hands-on and data-driven position that will lead a small team of Data Analysts and Report Developers. The Reporting Manager will work closely with Business Users, Billing, Finance, and Database and Application team members. The main responsibilities include:

• Gather and Document business and functional requirements and specifications
• Take ownership of quality and consistency across all reports and metrics, and help consolidate
• Analyze data, build database tables, stored procedures, and reports to deliver requested information
• Lead a small team of data analysts/report developers and manage deliverables
• Work closely with Database & Application Team and other stakeholders to coordinate on projects
• Help define key metrics that would provide more insight and gain approval for development
• Automate and streamline delivery of reports and alerts
• Document reports, definitions, and tasks due, escalate issues and communicate progress
• Collaborate with the team and other developers to help establish standard practices
• Work across different business units to identify data dependencies and set up necessary controls
• Build and maintain a strong relationship between different business units to help collaborate
• Assist with other analysis, development, QA as needed

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years analyzing data and writing queries/stored procedures in SQL Server
• 3+ years building reports and dashboards in Power BI
• 1+ years building reports in Excel
• 2+ years managing a team of data analysts or developers
• Ability to quickly grasp and articulate dependencies between processes and data
• Strong ability to analyze data and pay attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Takes initiative and can manage and complete multiple concurrent projects in a timely manner

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management data (highly desired)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combinations of education and experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
